Madbombers

The Madbombers are a group of Bombermen that serve as the main antagonists for Wario in Wario Blast: Featuring Bomberman!. When Wario stumbles upon Planet Bomber, he finds the Madbombers and decides that they will make a good addition to the ranks of his minions. However, he finds that the Madbombers are not willing to join him, and instead decides to destroy them with bombs. Their role in the game is replaced by False Warios when playing as Bomberman.

The Madbombers have the same starting abilities as Wario. They can lay bombs and collect and utilize the same powerups. Upon completion of the Normal Zone, the Madbombers gain the same Kicks ability as Wario, however, they do not obtain any of the other special items that Wario gets upon completion of later rounds. There is always a single Madbomber to face in the first stage of each round, with one more added for each additional stage. In the fourth and final stage, the Madbombers combine to form that round's boss.

In the original Bomberman GB, the Madbombers were known as the Black Bombermen (ブラックボンバーマン). In this game, they attacked Bomberman and stole all of his special items, with Bomberman having to fight them in order to retrieve his items. Template:BoxTop
