3DS Neo Bowser City
Template:Racecourse Neo Bowser City (known as Koopa City in Europe and Australia) is the third course of the Star Cup in Mario Kart 7. It is a neon-lit city-themed course owned by Bowser and his Koopa Troop. Neon signs are everywhere and Bowser's signature emblem can be seen in various places.
Description
The course takes place in a brightly lit, rainy city. Most of the course is winding roads with moving neon arrow railings. There is a small upward spiral that goes up a tower. There is a tunnel close to the end of the course that leads to a road that is covered with puddles. At the end, there is a ramp that uses the glider. If the player veers left from the starting line, he/she can go through an air current to propel themselves upwards to cut the first S-bend; however, they must steer back in quickly to avoid hitting the wall in higher engine classes. This course's theme is a remixed version of Toad Circuit/Mario Circuit and the title theme of Mario Kart 7. It also contains remixed parts from the previous installments such as of Mario Kart 64's Toad's Turnpike and Mario Kart Wii's Mario Circuit.[1]

Trivia
- This is the second course in the Mario Kart series that is placed in the rain, the first being Luigi Circuit from Mario Kart: Super Circuit.
- This is the first course related to Bowser that is not a castle.
- However, Metal Mario is this track's Staff Ghost in Time Trials.
- The billboard that appears near the starting line displays an image of Bowser. That artwork was first used in New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
- At the very beginning of the race, just before everyone enters the air vent area, it is possible to be pushed through the guardrails by a heavier opponent. This causes the player to helplessly fall to the ground, as if they had fallen off of the course normally. Lakitu will then pick them up as normal and then place them just before the curve.
- The "Overtake" ads found in Toad Circuit also appear here. However, they are animated and are shown on the screens of the track.
- If the player is hit by an item and launched over the glider pad at the end of the course, Lakitu will not retrieve them and they will have to run that segment of the course again.
