Talk:Bone Goomba
Name?
This isn't their official name. If it where is the source of the name?YoshiGo99
There's no sources for the name, as of now.
I made the article conjectural. Are you guys happy now?

P.S. Could someone make an article for Undead Piranha Plant?
Does this have enough information to be a non stub now?? Pseudo-dino (talk)
I think they should be called "Skull Goombas" because they're not necessarily "undead", they're just regular blue Goombas wearing skulls. KoopaKiller13 (talk) 22:59, 27 July 2012 (EDT)
- I agree. Pseudo-dino (talk)
Why don't call this enemy "Dry Goomba" and the undead Piranha Plant, "Dry Piranha Plant"? Cherry_totodile (talk)
- Why don't we wait for the official Prima guide to come out? Raven Effect (talk)
Happy? The official name is Dry Goomba. The souce is ign.com.

Undead Goomba: to be more precise, the name should be used if the enemy was undead.
Skull Goomba: This name is more correct than the first one—if you look at the artwork, you see nothing but an underground Goomba with a skull on its head.
What we shall do, keep the current name or move to the more correct one?

Move to Skull Goomba
- MarioSmasher (talk) – The name is more appropiate. Per proposal.
- MarioManiac164 (talk) – Skull Goomba is much more fitting.
- Ultra Koopa (talk) – I totally agree. There's no sense in "Undead Goomba".
- Lakituthequick (talk) I already thought about "Skull Goomba" a while ago, and these Goomba's aren't undead.
- Loxo (talk) Per proposal
- YoshiGo99 (talk) How would we know if someone will get the Prima guide? What if it doesn't even have the full list of enemies in it?
- YoshiKong (talk) Still conjectural, but it does seem like a more fitting name.
- DonnyKD (talk) - This enemy just looks like a Gloomba with a skull mask, so "Undead Goomba" doesn't make sense.
- KoopaKiller13 (talk) - My suggestion.
- Mario4Ever (talk) While I think that it would be best to wait for the Prima guide or another official source to provide a name, in the meantime, we may as well provide the article with a name that more accurately describes it (from what I can gather, the "undead" distinction describes enemies that look similar to Dry Bones, such as the Undead Piranha Plant, which this enemy does not).
- DoctorMario (talk) - Per all.
- IGGY7735 (talk) - Per all.
- Spenzer66 (talk) - Per all.
Leave to Undead Goomba
- Raven Effect (talk) There is no point in moving the name in a month or so the official Prima guide will come out and we will just move the article to what ever it calls them.
- Electrical Bowser jr. (talk) Per Raven Effect.
- GreenDisaster (talk) Per Raven.
- Tails777 (talk) Per Raven Effect.
- Mercury Mech (talk) Per Raven Effect.
- JORDAN DEBONO (talk) Per Raven Effect
- Walkazo (talk) - Per Raven Effect. Why update everything twice when we can do it once, all because one arbitrary placeholder name is a little "better" than our current conjecture?
- Vommack (talk) Per Raven.
- Prince Ludwig (talk) That's just a waste of time. Per Raven Effect.

Wait, so the Goombas are alive? Zakor1138 (talk) 23:33, 31 July 2012 (EDT)
- Yes. Watch this vid on YouTube and skip to 0:22.
Lakituthequick 04:43, 1 August 2012 (EDT)
@YoshiGo99 then we can move the page to something like this but until then it's irreverent to move it to anything. Raven Effect (talk)
- I am still going with the move but I think we should still have a temporary name until the official name is out. Undead Goomba makes it seem more like a dead Goomba like Dry Bones but it's not, and the name Skull Goomba gives it more of what it is like. YoshiGo99 (talk)
Bad name!
I say we should call it Skull Goomba or Skull Gloomba.
— The preceding unsigned comment was added by MarioManiac164 (talk).
- I think we should wait until they give an OFFICIAL name to the enemy. Zakor1138 (talk) 23:31, 31 July 2012 (EDT)
- You see this category? Do we have to wait till all off these objects/characters have official names? No, we don't, thats why we give conjectural names to unknowns.
Lakituthequick 04:49, 1 August 2012 (EDT)
- But most of those things wont get official names this one will in like a month... Raven Effect (talk)

- Jeez, Lakitu. The way you posted your comment made it look like you're mad at me or something. Zakor1138 (talk) 12:55, 1 August 2012 (EDT)
- You are not the first to say that, I'm not the best in talking (kindly) to people. I tempt to make things clear above being kind.
Lakituthequick 06:24, 2 August 2012 (EDT)
- If the upcoming Prima guide does not give an official name, but an official name is to be found in a later appearance, then {{Partconjecture}} should be used. As for now, we should decide on the conjectural title via the proposal.

I don't think it's going to go to the point where they start throwing swear words at each other.

Dry Goomba
I believe we should have the title as "Dry Goomba" like Dry Bones and Dry Bowser.
- Problem is, it's not a skeletal Goomba, but a Goomba wearing a skull helmet
Ray Trace(T|C)
- Lets just wait until the prima guide comes out, where the name for the undead Goomba and the Piranha Plant will be shown.--MarioMaster2011 (talk) 00:21, 6 August 2012 (EDT)
