Rambi using his Supercharge Attack.

The Supercharge Attack, is an attack used by certain members of the Animal Buddies group. The attack can help the Kongs reach high places or break through undiscovered areas. It appears in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and its sequel.

Animal Buddies

Rambi the Rhinoceros

Rambi's Supercharge Attack makes him run continuously until he hits an unbreakable wall. During his run, he can defeat numerous enemies at one time. It also allows him to break through walls which can access Bonus Areas.

Enguarde the Swordfish

Enguarde's Supercharge Attack is very similar to Rambi's. Like Rambi, it allows him to access underwater Bonus Areas and swim continuously until he hits an unbreakable wall.

Rattly the Rattlesnake

Rattly's Supercharge Attack is very unique. Instead of making him run, it makes him jump up to high places that no one else could reach. This can lead to secret items and sometimes even Bonus Areas.

Trivia

  • It is unknown why the other Animal Buddies don't get this attack, nor any other special attack.
  • Rattly's attack, is the only one that involves jumping.
