:It says "Second Youngest" on the Koopalings page because it's starting the counting from Larry rather than Bowser Jr., who is apparently included in the Koopaling's head count in Morton's page (and the other Koopaling pages). Bowser Jr. included, Morton is the third youngest. Perhaps we should streamline the pages and make sure the inter-page info is consistent? [[User:Dan Genesis|Dan Genesis]] 00:49, 31 March 2010 (EDT)

Possible Reason
People of Super mario wiki, I belive I have a possible conclusion. I think why people think of Mortan Koopa Sr as bowsers dad is of several reasons. 1, we never see his dad, and bowser probably would only remember his dad because he would have been king. 2, how else is Mortan Jr going to get his name, Bowser had to name him after someone, I know he is named after a real person, but have some in-game reason.
Those are reasons I think- Mortan firekoopa

Why is there a comma after his name?Knife (talk)

Because its an abbreviation-Pal101

Morton Koopa Sr.

Do you think we should make an article on this implied character-Pal101

Its never been said if theres a Morton Koopa Sr., ever. So I would guess not. -- Sir Grodus

Of course not. Bowser is Morton's father, I haven't even heard of Morton Sr..
I am Confused 12:21, 22 April 2007 (EDT)

Yeah I guess he is more of a fannon character.-Pal101

Maybe we should make an article on fannon elements then we could include him-Pal101

No, fanon is here after you click the pic--->Tadaa!2.gifPlumberTadaaa!.gif

Try either UnMarioWiki or MarioWiki Theories:

A better place would be Fantendo Wikia. -- Son of Suns

On other sites it states that Morton Sr. does exist. here's a picture of him: [3] (Note: this is not copyrighting. If you think it is, please let me know) File:Lemmy4.gif User:Lemmy Koopa Fan File:Lemmy4.gif

Question

If Bowser is his father then why is his name Morton Koopa Jr.?--Inuyasha Zero 15:23, 5 August 2008 (EDT)

Check the name controversity section of the article. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 15:58, 5 August 2008 (EDT)

About the Top Image...

Could somone tell me why the star-shaped mark is on Morton's right-head side??? i could think that the image is mirrored since the mark is supposed to be to the Left, so... what to do???

It's not only mirrored, but it's also miss-angled. I've seen the correct version of that picture, so someone must have been goofing around.

Morton's right foot is shopped in. You can see on the American website that his foot doesn't look like that. NMRodo 23:51, 10 November 2009 (EST)

You're right. It looks pretty choppy... Lemmy Koopa Fan (talk)

What is this?

Hello, I'm new here and found this strange confusion. Read the bold words.

Morton Koopa Jr. (also known as Big Mouth Koopa Jr.)is one of Bowser's eight children and is the sixth oldest Koopaling. Although he is the largest of the koopalings, Morton doesn't appear to be as powerful as some of his other large brothers, like Ludwig or Roy. This may just be due to the fact that he is one of the younger Koopalings, and needs to grow some more. However, despite of his age, Morton is currently taller than all the other Koopalings.

I didn't understand: he is the sixth oldest Koopalings or he is one of the younger Koopalings? I don't know who have made or edited this article, and I don't know if Morton is one of the older or one of the younger Koopalings, so, please, who wrote this, edit it again...

The paragraph makes perfect sense; he is the 6th oldest of only 8, which means he's the 3rd youngest. I can see how it could be confusing though, perhaps "3rd youngest" instead of "6th oldest" would be more appropriate here, though they mean the same thing.--vellidragon 14:57, 9 January 2010 (EST)
Well, let's change it in order to avoid more confusion then. BabyLuigiFire.pngRay Trace(T|C)

Good, perfect change BabyLuigi, but I discovered more confusion: If you search for Koopalings, you'll find the description of Morton Koopa Jr. Here it is: "Morton Koopa Jr. is the second youngest of the Koopalings despite his size. He seems possess a cantankerous personality. He is also the only Kooplaing to have a different skin tone rather than the yellow tone the other's have. The Jr. following his name has sparked some controversy; this is due to the specific connection not being confirmed. His main color representation is brown. Morton was known as Big Mouth Koopa Jr. in the cartoons."

So, I think he is the second youngest, cause not only in this description, but in Super Mario World he is the second boss, on Donut Island. And in Super Mario Bros. 3 too.--Pedrocolou64 21:10, 13 January 2010 (EST)

It says "Second Youngest" on the Koopalings page because it's starting the counting from Larry rather than Bowser Jr., who is apparently included in the Koopaling's head count in Morton's page (and the other Koopaling pages). Bowser Jr. included, Morton is the third youngest. Perhaps we should streamline the pages and make sure the inter-page info is consistent? Dan Genesis 00:49, 31 March 2010 (EDT)
