Denpū requesting Wario's Treasure for one wish.

Denpū (デンプー) is the last boss in Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3. Denpū is a genie who is neither good nor evil, only obeying the wish of the person who rubbed his lamp. He is summoned by Captain Syrup to destroy Wario. Wario defeats him and uses him to wish for a castle.

Denpū shoots fireballs at Wario. When Wario defeats Denpū, Captain Syrup blows up her castle. Wario escapes and find the genie's magic lamp. After he rubs it, he summons Denpū, who states he will grant Wario one wish if he paid him all the treasure and coins Wario collected. Wario wishes for a castle, and his wish is granted.

Depending on how much treasure and coins Wario earns, he can receive one of the following:

  • Birdhouse (300 to 10,071)
  • Hollow tree trunk (10,072 to 40,007)
  • Log cabin (40,008 to 70,007)
  • Pagoda (70,008 to 90,007)
  • Castle (90,008 to 99,998)
  • Wario's Planet (99,999+)

Wario cannot get a score lower than 300; he automatically receives 300 coins when the Genie is defeated.
