Template:Galaxybox Space Storm Galaxy is a galaxy in the game Super Mario Galaxy 2. It is located in World 5. The level revolves around mechanical objects. The galaxy has an abandoned rocketship-like object and a tower shaped like a Topman similar to Buoy Base Galaxy. Switches that slow down time first appear here. Bob-ombs, Spiky Topmen, and Topmen are common enemies in the galaxy. The main obstacle in this galaxy is electricity, with Amps and electric fences all around the area. There is also a new enemy shaped like FLUDD's head, which shoots electrical currents that home in on Mario.

There are no Prankster Comets in the galaxy, until the player unlocks the green stars.

Planets

Pull Star Planets

Those two planets that have Pull Stars. The only thing found on them is the first Launch Star.

Abandoned Rocketship

This cylindrical planet looks like a rocketship because of the several "wings" it has on the sides. There are a lot of electric beams in this planet, and spinning platforms. The gravity here is very strong, so Mario won't fall off. The Comet Medal is found here.

Bob-Omb Planet

A cylindrical planet with some electricity beams and a Bob-Omb spawner inside it. Mario must guide the Bob-Omb towards a crystal vault to access the inner part of the planet and use the Launch Star. There is a Tip Network in the outter part of the planet.

Topman Planet

A red planet with several holes surrounded by electricity in it. There is a Bob-Omb spawner in here. Small and Spiky Topmen keep spawning in here. Later, the Silver Gearmo will appear and will reward Mario with a Power Star if he lures a Spiky Topman towards it.

At the end of the planet is an area full of electric orbs and electricity shooters is also found on it. Mario must use the Pull Stars to get to the Power Star before being shot down.

Topman Tower

A metallic tower shaped like a topman. The highest part is shaped exactly the same as the Buoy Base Galaxy, but with platforms spinning much more rapidly. Enemies here include different types of topmen, Amps and Thwomps. At the bottom of the planet the floor spins rapidly. There are a lot of Time Switches here.

Missions

Follow me, Bob-omb

To complete this mission, Mario must first find the Launch Star on the first planet. He can do so by using the blue stars. When he gets to the second planet, he must make his way to another Launch Star. After using it, he'll find himself on the Bob-omb Planet. Here, he must get a Bob-omb to follow him to a glass cage. When the enemy explodes, the Launch Star inside the planet can be accessible. After he lands on the last planet, the plumber must make his way to the Power Star by using the Pull Star and avoiding the FLUDD head enemies.

Upon entering the galaxy for the second time, Mario will notice a ! Switch on one of the first two planets. When he pounds it, time will move slowly. To complete this mission, Mario must use the Launch Star to get to the Topman Planet this time. Here, he must make his way to the top of the tower. To do so, he has to use the ! Switches to make the Thwomps and the platforms move slowly. When he makes it to the top, he has to defeat two Spiked Topmen to make a Spring Topman appear. Mario must use it to reach the Power Star.

Gearmo's letter to Mario.

Mario must first receive a letter from a Gearmo (later found to be the Silver Gearmo) who asks him for help. To complete this mission, Mario must go to the Topman Planet. Then, he has to talk with the Gearmo and he'll tell him that he looks for a Topman. Mario must make the Topman on this planet follow him and lead him to the Gearmo who rewards the plumber with a Power Star.

Green Star 1

The first Green Star is located on the first planet. The player has to use the Pull Stars to reach the highest place possible. Then, he has to Spin to get it.

Green Star 2

Like the second one, this Green Star is found on the Topman Planet. To get it, the player must make his way to the Thwomps. Then, he'll notice a small green and black path surendered by a red color. He must go down the path to find the Green Star.

To get this Green Star, the player must make his way to the Topman Planet. Then, he has to use one of the bubbles to lead him to the star.
