Wario Blast: Featuring Bomberman! is a crossover between Nintendo's Wario franchise and Hudson's signature Bomberman franchise, but it is more of a Bomberman game than a Wario game, even though Wario is the main protaganist. This game help Bomberman win back some attention in the states, since the BomberMan GB game released in America was called Atomic Punk. Later, BomberMan GB 2 was released in the states as Bomberman GB, and this game, minus Wario, became Japan's Bomberman GB.

Story One day, as Wario went out for a stroll, he came across Bomberman's world. Being the greedy sort he is, he decides to pillage and loot it for his own good. Bomberman is the only one that stands between Wario's complete controlof Bomber Land.

Game Play The game's object is almost the same as the original Bomberman: Blow things and enemies up to advance. The game is set from an overhead perspictive, as you move around a grid-like area, setting bombs to blow up unsuspecting enemies, and destroy walls for the occiasional power-up. After playing three rounds, the player with the most enemies destroyed advances. You can play as either Bomberman or Wario, but the only change is this changes the baddies to either Bombermen to Wario clones.
