Mario's Early Years! Fun with Letters was an educational Mario game, that taught about letters. It was released for the SNES on June 1, 1993. The goal of the game is to wake up a sleeping Luigi with correct answers.

Mario, Princess Toadstool, and Yoshi started out on a little wooden boat in an ocean of various islands. Each of the seven islands taught a different style of literature, for example, there was Vowel World, which had questions and problems concerning vowels.

The gameplay mainly consisted of three multiple choices for a question, where the player must move the Stripe Pointer to the answer and press B. Mario will go and hit it like a ? Block, and whether the answer be correct or wrong, another question appears.
