Box Art of Mario's Early Years! Fun with Numbers.

Mario's Early Years! Fun with Numbers was an educational Mario game that taught about numbers. It was released for the SNES on June 15, 1993 (the other two games in the Mario's Early Years series, Fun with Letters and Preschool Fun, were both released on June 1). The player may need a SNES mouse, though this is optional.

The game sets in a set of islands as Mario, Yoshi and Peach sails with a cavred-made boat to this place. The player can click one of the islands to enter, after that the player sees Luigi asleep; click him and the player has to do various activities to learn.

Islands

  • Number World: The player attempts to find the numbers and click them to advance to the next level. This world sets in a series of city places.
  • Counting World: The player attempts to click stuff to count the things in Mario's Bedroom and Mario's Kitchen to learn to count, the player can leave the place by clicking the warp pipe.
  • Comparing World: The player attempts to find the object who/what/where/why (i.e "find the medium-size swing" or "find some water") to learn about things to compare, this island sets in a park.
  • How Many World: The player attempts to click the item with a number as the player learns about counting object in such thing (i.e. "Find the 8 peanuts in the bag", or "Find the four whiskers". This island sets in a zoo.
  • Shape World: Again, the player must click the shape that some told the player as the player learns about shapes.
  • Same and Different World: The player has to pick the item that is not belong as the level gets a little harder. The island take the place in midnight.
  • Sorting World: The player attempts to pick the item that is similar to something (i.e "Pick a triangle". Egg, Party Hat and a Cookie... or Party stuff.)
