The Star Sages were a group of three characters who kept the Star Cures away from enemies during the events of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Mario and Luigi seek the cures to break the barriers to Peach's Castle that the Dark Star created. Wisdurm of Dimble Wood, and Kuzzle and Chakron of Plack Beach are the three sages. However, Kuzzle's Star Cure was taken by Bowser before the events of the game, and is eventually found in a safe in his castle. The Mario Bros. battle and subsequently befriend the other two, acquiring their Star Cures in the process.
