I would like to know if I could make my own department called "Artwork and Music" (for the August issue and after). Here are some of the positions I would like to include: Director Sub-Director Suggestions Receptionist Character Battle Comics Featured Box-Art Featured Character Artwork Featured Screenshots Featured Soundtrack Featured Sprites Music Unrelated to Mario Music Supplier Random Image Sketch Related to Mario Sketch Unrelated to Mario Please let me know if you would allow this for the next issue of the 'Shroom, and/or if you have any questions about any of the positions I would like to include. However, here are some notes I am going to include: If I'm correct, music files are not allowed on the wiki, but I know a good website that I can link to when doing the music projects. Also, the "Suggestions Receptionist" takes the suggestions sent in by users and considers them. The ones they find are good they send to the users who hold the position the suggestion is related to. Also, one more thing: The position "Music Supplier" is a vacant, already existing position of the 'Shroom that I would like to merge into this part of the 'Shroom. Super Mario Bros. So, the other day, I realized I hadn't said anything to anyone about leaving the Wiki, and I was feeling a little sheepish about it. So, how about this: I'll tell you what I've been up to in the last... six months (oh wow that long?) and then you can tell me what all I've missed in the land of Stooben and/or the Wiki? I'm sad to say this isn't a big triumphant return or anything... but it might be a bit of a return - hard to say. In any case, the reason I left was because my second semester was much, much harder than the first. This semester is just the same, so in all honesty I shouldn't devote any time to the Wiki. Between school and me getting into short story writing finally (something I've wanted to do for quite some time) the Super Mario Wiki went to the back of my head, just as did the Animal Crossing Wiki I admin(ed?) for. It's irritating - another reminder that there's way more to do in this world than I can ever hope to do. At least while in college. :) I wonder if I should post messages on anyone else's talk pages? Meh... not enough time tonight... I shouldn't even be here writing this but I missed the Wiki too much. Time to studying for my exam tomorrow! I was hoping that you guys would just assume that college had eaten my life, but I didn't want to guys to think that something horrible had happened to me or others I'm close to, especially when I was inactive over summer. I'm really, really glad to hear that you're life is looking up - I was worried there! It would be great to be back on the staff, but I just don't think it's something I can handle right now on top of the things that (at the risk of insulting the Wiki) really matter in my life (ie not failing my classes). I'm hoping I can drop by maybe once a week or so to poke around the proposals and main talk page in addition to making some smaller edits here and there. The full blown article rewrites will probably have to wait until I finish the short story... ha, ha - I don't really have time for that, either, but there you go!
