Ankirons are the strongest enemies, excluding bosses that Wario fights in the game Wario World.

Ankirons resemble huge armored turtles with cannons sprouting out of their shell. In fact, Ankirons are so huge, all they can do is turn in place! Ankirons can also hide in their shells to protect them against Wario's powerful punches. Ankirons like to fire cannonballs at Wario, but the greedy anti-hero can throw the cannonballs right back at them. The cannonballs explode after a short time, however.
