The Mushroom Kingdom is a peaceful monarchy led by Princess Peach Toadstool. It is also the home of the Toads.

In Videogames and Television

In Super Mario Bros. (movie)

In the Mario Bros. movie, it was very different from what it looked it the games. It was Brooklyn but run down and surrounded by a massive desert. The ruler was also, Princess Daisy and not Peach. It was also called Dinohatten instead of Mushroom Kingdom.

This was the first videogame where the Mushroom Kingdom was shown.

Super Mario 64

In this game we only get to see a little part of the game and that is Princes Peach's Castle and her garden. It is unknown if all the Painting Worlds Mario jumped into, were part of the Mushroom Kingdom.
