Odd Rock, Donkey Kong Bananza[1]

The Odd Rock is a supporting character in Donkey Kong Bananza. It is a purple, rock-like entity with two stubby legs, blue diamond-like eyes, and various VoidCo symbols and inscriptions on its body. Prior to its introduction, it appears to be an innocuous purple rock that happened to have fallen onto the crater. When Donkey Kong pulls the rock out of the crater, it stays still for a few seconds before its eyes glow, and becomes frightened at the sight of DK. Identifying him as a threat, it runs away, causing Donkey Kong to give chase to it. When DK eventually finds it, he tries to think of how to get its attention. He then proceeds to whistle, calming the Odd Rock down, who then realizes that DK was the one who saved it and decides to join him. Much like Beep-0 and JEANIE in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and the Talking Flowers in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, it has fully voiced dialogue.[1]
