Banandium Gems (also known as Golden Bananas)[1] are items that appear in Donkey Kong Bananza, serving the same purpose as Golden Bananas from Donkey Kong 64 and Power Moons from Super Mario Odyssey. They are destructible, edible, crystallized bananas, though some of them appear in Banana Bunches of three similar to Multi Moons, with a diamond holding them together in place of a stem.[2] Banandium Gems were discovered on Ingot Isle by Donkey Kong and a crew of Prospector Monkeys; however, they were stolen by VoidCo, who then fled to the Underground World, where Donkey Kong is tasked to recover the Banandium Gems.[1]
