Do cloud, [[wall (Super Princess Peach)|wall]] <small>(formerly sand wall)</small>, and [[rock (big)|the]] [[rock (small)|rocks]] have to be derived? This is getting getting close to overstepping the initial purpose of the derived names (''Super Mario Bros. Wonder'''s then-unnamed enemy variants had better names easily extrapolated from other subjects) and into [[MarioWiki:Japanese#Subjects with Japanese names|fan-translation]]. Conjectural title?
That's a very creative name for a conjectural title isn't it? Wouldn't it be better if we changed this to something more descriptive? The same applies to other enemies like Firewheel, Flameface, Hoolet and many others. — Lady Sophie

- Strongly agree. Conjectural names should absolutely not be as interpretative as these are, especially "Hootlet", goodness. I don't have any good suggestions for new names since I'm not familiar enough with SPP, but these ones should totally go. PopitTart (talk) 20:30, December 14, 2024 (EST)
- The first ideas that come to mind:
- Smogball —> Yellow cloud
- Hoolet —> Hoo baby / Hoo's baby
- Firewheel —> Spinning stone
- Flameface —> Burning rock
