Shroomshock
Toadsworth goes unconscious from Shroomshock

Shroomshock is a type of shock-induced fainting shown in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time that is known to affect Toads. Toadsworth goes into Shroomshock when he becomes concerned that Princess Peach is lost in time and unsafe, and the effect is permanent unless a Refreshroom is eaten. The Toad doctor sends Mario out to get a Refreshroom for Toadsworth, which indeed cures him.
