This template is for a page pending merge into another page depending on the outcome of an ongoing talk page discussion or proposal.
Usage
- Basic format:
{{merge to|Destination page}} - Change the "discuss" link...
- To a section on the current talk page:
{{merge to|Destination page|Source talk section}} - To a different talk page and section:
{{merge to|Destination page|discuss=Talk:Article#Topic}}
- To a section on the current talk page:
An optional proposal parameter can be used to link to a deciding proposal, an optional reason parameter can be used to add a reason, an optional text parameter can be used to change the link text, an optional section parameter can be set if this only applies to a section, and an optional partial parameter can be set if this is a partial merge.
