Captain N and the New Super Mario World is a DVD release of the Super Mario World animated series containing all 13 episodes, the third season of Captain N: The Game Master, and additional bonus features in a box set consisting of two discs. It was released in 2007 by Shout! Factory.[citation needed]

The box set's cover art depicts the show's logo with Kevin Keene, Princess Lana, and Simon Belmont on the top and Cape Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi on the bottom.

NCircle Entertainment would later release Super Mario World - The Complete Series in 2013, a similar DVD release without the third season of Captain N: The Game Master.

Blurb[edit]

In 1991 NBC amped up their Saturday mornings by combining two of their animated powerhouses into one half-hour time slot with Captain N And The New Super Mario World.

Super Mario World Based on the hit video game of the same name, Super Mario World completes the animated adventures of the heroic Super Mario Brothers, Princess Toadstool and their new dinosaur friend, Yoshi.

Captain N: The Game Master In this third and final season of Captain N: The Game Master, Mother Brain (Metroid) and her Forces of Chaos continue to threaten the freedom of Videoland. Only Game Master Kevin Keene and the N-Team--Princess Lana, Simon Belmont (Castlevania), Mega Man, Kid Icarus and Gameboy--can keep them from conquering the universe.
