Switch
The switch that wins boss fights.

Switches[1] are objects in Super Mario Land. They appear behind most bosses as an alternative way to defeat them. Rather than attack a boss directly, Mario may choose to simply evade the boss and use the switch just behind it to defeat it instead. Switches appear in World 1-3, World 2-3, and World 3-3. Some of levels require Mario to clear a path to the switch before he can activate it.
