Purple Conveyors are a variation of conveyors that first appear in Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem! As their name shows, they are purple in color and a limited amount of them can be drawn between two Purple Conveyor Rivets.[1] They are used to move the Minis in a certain direction when they are drawn horizontally or diagonally. However, tracing one vertically makes it act like a normal wall. The direction of a Purple Conveyor is determined by the direction in which the player created it. The player can tap a rivet that is adjacent to one or more Purple Conveyors to remove and gather them.

Objects called Conveyor Pickups also appear, which give the player more Purple Conveyor pieces to use in a level, although they can only be collected by Minis themselves. A large variation of Conveyor Pickups which add five pieces to the player's Purple Conveyors count appear as well. Purple Conveyors and the Pickups are also available for use in the Construction Zone and can be placed in levels. A total of 35 Purple Conveyors and 10 Pickups can be placed in one level.

Purple Conveyors and their Pickups also appear in Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars, behaving and being used in the same way, though the design of the rivets was slightly changed. They can also be placed in the player's own levels in the Workshop mode.

Purple Conveyors are introduced in the third worlds of both games they appear in, i.e. Teatime Twirl in Mini-Land Mayhem! and Runaway Warehouse in Tipping Stars.
