Amiibo spelling

I don't understand why the word "Amiibo" starts with a lowercase letter a bunch of times. Is it supposed to be written like that? Even on Nintendo's official site it starts with a lowercase letter! Bwario 10:17, April 8, 2024 (EDT)

As I already said on Talk:amiibo#Amiibo spelling, "it just is so we have to roll with it". If it's written like that on an official Nintendo website, that's further proof that it's supposed to be non-capitalised. It's true that you have to start the word "amiibo" with a lowercase letter, but someone on the amiibo page also started a mandate with that, even though SENTENCES MUST ALWAYS BEGIN WITH CAPITAL LETTERS, no matter what word is the first word of the sentence. Look on Nintendo's sites, packaging, in fine prints, or on their official social media accounts and you'll notice that "amiibo" is always written in lowercase. MarioWiki goes by official word and rarely, if ever, does it compromise. If you want to use a custom signature, you have to create one here first, then go to your preferences and add {{User:Bwario/sig}} to the signature field and tick the "Treat signature as wikitext" checkbox. Adding a signature as raw code (with the file names and such) is not allowed.

They should be 35 pixels in height, not width, so there should be an "x" before the numbers. Consider removing some of the text to keep it short (like "Posted by", which should just put the signature within the permitted size).

Species parameter

The parameter is only used for what species the subject is, not what group they are in. As Mariuigi Khed said when reverting your anonymous edits, "Spark Hunter" is a faction and does not fit with species; it would instead fit under the former "affiliation" parameter (though I'm not saying you should use that either). But the heroes saved Spawny from Megabug at the end of the game. This is also proven by the fact that Spawny gets into trouble again in The Tower of Doooom DLC for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. But of course, even in the fragment of the Megabug, something of the look of Spawny's face may have remained. Now that we're talking about this, a question came to mind: How do Rabbids reproduce?

Renaming subjects

That's because that was a clear-cut move because that's the actual correct name from the official soundtrack. Unabbreviating more commonly used names for popular subjects like "F.L.U.D.D." and "Professor E. Gadd", which many official sources already refer to them as, is a different scenario and going to raise doubts from other users, and you should at least check the talk pages to see if there were any discussions or proposals on the matter first. You were even explained why Sunshine information is on the Big Boo page yet you went ahead and moved it to the King Boo page. Don't make drastic changes without settling it in discussion first.
