The police is a subcategory of Theets in Princess Peach: Showtime!, where they appear as NPCs in three stages. They are notable for being one of few subcategories to appear across multiple stage types, namely the types of Detective Peach and Dashing Thief Peach.

They wear dark blue uniforms with a type of custodian helmets.

Level appearances

The Perfect Infiltration

One police officer has closed off a street near the start of the stage, while a second police officer was taken by surprise by the Sour Thieves robbing the bank, and his efforts to make up for his blunder ends up held back by wheeled guards.

The Case of the Missing Mural

Two police officers are enforcing a lockdown on the local museum where no one except high-ranking law enforcers are allowed to go in, and no one at all are allowed to go out.

By the time Detective Peach and Junior Detective have left the detective office and are heading to the museum, an additional three officers have lined up to block the road between the museum and the left road that Peach initially arrived from.

Upon Peach and Junior Detective being allowed inside, there are seven officers guarding the rooms inside the museum, though the officers focus on preventing anything from getting past them instead of making active efforts to solve the case on their own.

The Case of the Rainy-Day Plot

After Peach and Junior Detective have concluded that the Sour Gang had planned a bomb attack on the Clock Tower later that night, Junior Detective warns the city police squad about the plans, who back him and Peach on their way up the tower.

Having helped to apprehend and arrest various Criminals, the police then makes a notable blunder where they take a Criminal's suspicious denial entirely literally, not realizing the Criminal was lying to them when he said it wasn't in the top floor's bell, leaving it up to Peach, Junior Detective and Stella to make it up the last stairs before reaching the clock tower's bell.
