Note: In the game, some people refer to the board as "the Notice Board" (with capitalization) and some "the bulletin board".

Turn this article into a simple "Toad Town News" article?
I attempted to do this on my own without any go-ahead, but I ran into a bit of a wall when trying to move it. I realize now I probably was overstepping by trying to do that without bringing it up on a talk page first.
In any case, my main argument is: I'm not sure why this is article is titled what it is, given that... well, first of all, there isn't a Toad Town News in any game other than Paper Mario. But secondly, the Toad Town News is a singular thing that we don't have a preexisting article on. And given that it's not like there would need to be an in-depth history section on it, anything that would be on that article would easily slot in here. Heck, I've already done that.
For the record, I was also thinking of creating a similar article for TTYD's equivalent, but with the remake on the horizon, I don't think it's the right time. Ahemtoday (talk) 18:34, May 12, 2024 (EDT)

I know I didn't get a lot of discussion with the above, but I'm pretty certain this is the best way forward.
First off, its name is redundant, as there is no Toad Town News outside Paper Mario, and there is no article about Toad Town News aside from this list.
Secondly, this was already treated like a general-use Toad Town News article even before I got here. It had the Japanese names of these things, and this article is linked to with a link simply reading "Toad Town News" in the Paper Mario navbox.

- Ahemtoday (talk) Per proposal.
- Nintendo101 (talk) Per proposal.
- Camwoodstock (talk) We assumed at first that there was a "Toad Town News" article that just describes the board more generally... "Toad Town News" literally redirects here. There's basically no reason to make this a "list of" article when it functionally serves as an article just, for the Toad Town News itself, and it just happens to have a list incidental to that.
- MegaBowser64 (talk) Whynot. Lends more clarity, per proposal.

- Hewer (talk) Per all.

- DrBaskerville (talk) Per proposal.
- Scrooge200 (talk) As it is, it just feels weirdly inconsistent. Per all.
- TheFlameChomp (talk) Per proposal.
- Dine2017 (talk) We have lots of cases where list articles are not titled "List of ...".
