The Star Rod, also referred to as the Star Wand[1] or Wand,[2] is a major item appearing in Kirby's Adventure and its remake, powering the Fountain of Dreams to send dreams to everyone in Dream Land. The item's only appearances within the Super Mario franchise are in issues of Super Mario-kun.
In volume 7 of Super Mario-kun, the Star Rod appears among the items stolen by the collector that gets taken back by Kirby. While exploring the Space Zone in volume 9, Mario creates a Star Rod by fusing a Super Star with a rod given to him by the Hippo and uses it to defeat No. 48.
