Wario's Gold Mine is a racing course on Mario Kart Wii. This course features steep declines and sharp turns and lends itself to the frantic, roller coaster game play of Wario Colosseum from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. Segments of the track lack siding to allow players to unintentionally fall off. Additionally, this course employs Boost Pads. During the climactic segments of the race, mine karts appear with Wario's signature blue "W" on them to give the player a few intended obstacles as they reach the finish line.
There is a shortcut in this course, visible in the pre-course introduction. To use the shortcut, the player must not use the normal way during the section with the mine carts. They must follow the mine carts into a small tunnel with two dash panels. To exit the tunnel, he/she must follow it until the player reaches the exit of the cave, which in turn is the exit of the entire mine.
Trivia
- The Minecarts that appear in the course are references to those in Donkey Kong 64.
