I'm not sure about the original, but in the remake, the things in the sidescrolling segments are clearly [[Hothead]]s, not the small ones, which I can mostly tell by their size in comparison to the Bros., as well as their eye size. - No, it's just an electrical current. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 15:06, 5 November 2017 (EST)
Superstar Saga[edit]
I'm not sure about the original, but in the remake, the things in the sidescrolling segments are clearly Hotheads, not the small ones, which I can mostly tell by their size in comparison to the Bros., as well as their eye size. Thoughts? Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 04:54, 25 December 2017 (EST)
- Superstar Saga's sparks are roughly the same size as Mole Mario, albeit I think slightly smaller in the original and slightly bigger in the remake. Since Mole Mario basically equates to Small Mario and the design is seemingly influenced by Watt, it's still closer to Li'l Sparky rather than Hothead. Having said that, I'm not really sure if they are supposed to be Li'l Sparkies or something else since they have some new patterns. Mister Wu said that they aren't mentioned in the Japanese guide, and in the Nintendo Player's Guide, they are generically called "sparks" on page 95. LinkTheLefty (talk) 13:59, April 28, 2020 (EDT)
Rename[edit]
The enemy is called "Li'l Sparky" in Nintendo Power and a Paper Mario line, but it's "Lil Sparky" in the Super Mario World cast roll and Super Mario Advance 4 Prima guide, and "Lil' Sparky" in the Super Princess Peach glossary. According to policy, the article title would normally be the latest one; however, given the apostrophe placement has been inconsistent, could we simply use "Lil Sparky" until further notice? - I really don't think it makes any sort of difference. Somethingone (talk) 10:27, May 5, 2021 (EDT)
- Should probably go with Lil' Sparky based on policy. I don't think we need to "compromise" between different names. -- Too Bad! Waluigi Time! 18:18, January 18, 2022 (EST)
- Do want to point out that the English Mario Portal goes with "Lil Sparky", and for the most part, the names/spellings are unified/recent. LinkTheLefty (talk) 21:29, August 13, 2022 (EDT)
