It has been requested that this article be rewritten and expanded to include more information. Reason: In Bomberman GB / Wario Blast, does touching another character while having the Skull simply infect that character, or does the effect transfer to the other character and cure the original one? Is it always the same effect that the original character got, or is the opponent's effect random as if getting the item? Also, is this one of the games where the Skull item can get destroyed by a blast, or does it linger on the board?

Skull[1] is a Normal Item from Wario Blast: Featuring Bomberman! that gives a random temporary negative effect. The item can be picked up by players and opponents. Upon collecting the Skull, the character starts blinking until the effect wears off. Touching an opponent while under the influence will spread the effect.
