This enemy is never been in a game with mario

I'd assume it's because it's a variation of a Mario series enemy. Thwomps originate from the Mario series and while I've never played Link's Awakening in any form, I do know that it takes a lot of enemy inspiration from the Mario series, so it's more than likely that this enemy is meant to be a spin-off from Thwomps themselves, despite not being from a Mario game. - This is far from the only case where the Zelda franchise has done this -- Manhandla is established as a Piranha Plant variant, for one, and its only presence on this wiki is a brief reference on the Piranha Plant page. Mega Thwomp should definitely be the same way. 73.171.36.107 20:51, August 11, 2023 (EDT)
- Manhandla just hasn't been split yet. Thwomps is Thwomps, no matter what game they are in. And the Zelda games have a whole slew of Thwomps in them, not just this, and the previous system of covering them all on the main Thwomp page was awkward. - That's ridiculous. This is Super Mario Wiki, not Thwomp Wiki. Let Zelda Wiki handle their whole slew of Thwomps.
