I read somewhere that due to the gameboy's graphical limitations, developers couldn't include the classic koopa shell sliding around, so these replaced koopas. can anyone reference this? [[User:Lu-igi board|Lu-igi board]] 12:28, 28 February 2011 (EST)

In Minecraft, the Sheep's wool texture is tinted to be the color of the wool they grow. It is purely coincidence that the Bombshell Koopa is black, and the black Sheep's wool is tinted black to show that it is growing black wool, so the fact that the black Sheep is a Bombshell Koopa is misleading. Actually, yes. Besides the fact that their names are similar to Koopas, they also look like Koopas, and be defeated like Koopas (except that they explode). There is no official proof that these are Koopas, but common sense points to it.Knife (talk)
