Cave People have appeared in many of the Super Mario World episodes. The Cave People are the native humans of Dinosaur World. The cave-people are short and stubby in appearence often having long hair. The only notable Cave Men is Oogtar who replaces Toad from The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3. Cave People appear to be somewhat dumb.

Mario has also encountered cave people in the Club Nintendo Super Mario: Verloren in der Zeit who also bare an uncanny resemblence of the cave people from the TV series.
