Light Speed is a Duel minigame found in Mario Party 7. Its name is a play on the speed of light, also known as "light speed."
Gameplay
Players in their hover-cars attempt to run over the tiles to change them to their own colors. There are also warp zones that help players go across the areas easily. The player who has more tiles of their color after time runs out wins. If both players have the same number of tiles of their colors at the end of the minigame, the minigame ends in a tie.
Ending
The winning player stands in the middle of the tile floor, outside their hover-car, and does their victory pose while the tiles constantly change color by row. The losing player is not seen.
