The sun[1][2][3] is an invulnerable enemy which only appears in Wario Land 3. He appears in daytime flying around and trying to burn Wario by spewing fireballs at him. If Wario fails to avoid his attacks, he will transform into Hot Wario, making him run in straight lines wildly. He makes his first level appearance in The Vast Plain, and then later has two other appearances in the area of the Green Chest in The Colossal Hole. He does not appear during the night, and is replaced by Mr. Moon instead.

He is very similar to Angry Sun from Super Mario Bros. 3, and shares the same generic name in Japanese.
