Donkey Kong swimming along with two Red Finleys
Red Finleys[1] are enemies in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and its Nintendo Switch port. They are reddish Finleys as their name implies, but also have a yellow underbelly, fins, and tail tip.
Red Finleys swim faster than Blue Finleys. If the Kongs get in contact with a Red Finley, it bites them and they lose a heart. The Kongs can defeat a Red Finley using any attack method, such as a Corkscrew or swinging Cranky Kong's cane.
Red Finleys first appear in Twilight Terror, and they appear in many levels of Sea Breeze Cove. Red Finleys are never shown outside the water unlike the Blue Finleys in Rocket Rails.
