Mallet-Go-Round is an Item minigame found in Mystery Land in Mario Party 2. Its name is a pun on "merry-go-round," a type of carnival or amusement park ride.
Gameplay
The player attempts to use a hammer to knock two blocks down on a roulette to get the item they desire. Each time the player knocks down a block, the remaining blocks on the roulette change direction and spin faster. If the player knocks down Baby Bowser's block, they get nothing. If the player loses by running out of time, the roulette simply stops.
Controls
- – Swing hammer
In-game text
- Game Rules – "Blocks spin around and around! Use the hammer to hit 2 blocks and knock an Item down."
- Advice – "Each time you hit a block, the remaining ones spin faster and faster. Watch your timing! Don't rush!"
