Yo yo, it's Lastro (formerly known as 1JUST1)! I am a French teenager who is a huge fan of Mario and every single details about him. I discovered video games with him when I was a child and I inevitably grew with him. Since, everything in my life is quite influenced by this plumber. From the mainline titles to the spin-offs, I have played a lot of Mario games and none of them deceived me at any point. And that is why I joined this wiki: because the Mario franchise is, to my eyes, the best video game franchise ever made, and none other even come close to it.

I have a Wii, Wii U, Super NES Classic Edition, Nintendo Switch and a Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros.. I own and have played most of the biggest Mario games of these respective consoles, and you can see a detailed list below. I am especially a fan of the Mario Kart series.

Here is a precise list of every single Mario game I own to this day.

	Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros.	None.	★★☆☆☆	You can actually go wrong with this one. While it's kind of nice to play the "official" sequel to Super Mario Bros., the controls are still pretty weird, we cannot go backwards and it's way more difficult.
	Super NES Classic Edition	Made it to World 2, Donut Plains.	★★★★☆	The controls feel way better and we can go backwards. Moreover, the variety in gameplay, songs and enemies have been improved by a long shot.
	Super NES Classic Edition	Played a bunch of tracks but definitely not all of them.	★★★☆☆	After playing Mario Kart 8 and going back to this game, man I was disorientated. We screwed up nearly every single turn because of how difficult it is to control the kart The other downside is that the tracks feel all the same, but it is understandable regarding the system they worked on.
	Super NES Classic Edition	Did the first level or two maybe.	★★★★☆	For what I've played, the controls have been a bit improved and the story is quite original. Even if it doesn't look like a sequel to Super Mario World, it doesn't make it a bad game; it's a good breath of fresh air.
	Super NES Classic Edition	None.	?????	I cannot put a mark on this game. I just do not remember the game at all, but I know that the weird 3D style definitely disorientated me, and the fact that it is a RPG is quite surprising for a Mario game. I might go back on this one when I have the time.
	Wii	Did a lot of mini-games but not all of them, played nearly all the boards.	★★★★☆	One of the most underrated game from the Mario Party series! The boards are incredible: King Boo's Haunted Hideaway and Koopa's Tycoon Town being easily my favorites. However, I have to admit that some mini-games could be improved, and that others are just bad.
	Wii	Raced on all the tracks multiple times. Finished each GP in 50cc with ★ rank.	★★★★★	What can I say about this game that has not been said before? 10/10, and as Arcintel would say, it's the worse but that's why it's the best. This game refuses to die with hundreds of custom tracks being made each year, and the overall track selection of the vanilla game is outstanding! It also has the most awesome shortcuts and ultra shortcuts, and the most advanced mechanics of any other Mario Kart game!
	Wii	★★★★★ save file. All Star Coins including those in World 9, and every normal exit and secret exit.	★★★★☆	This is the only game from the New Super Mario Bros. series I have played and that may impact my opinion. A lot of people find these games boring and repetitive, but I think New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a nice game and a blast in multiplayer, although the basic themes and musics get repetitive after a while. We had so much fun playing through all the levels with my sister!
	Wii U	Completed every level of the game with all Green Stars and Stamps except the last two level of World Crown: Mystery House Marathon and Champion's Road.	★★★★☆	It's a really fun title. This was my first ever 3D Mario game, and I got to say that it amazed me. I was used to the linear formula as I played only 2D games, so the fact that it was not open-world didn't bother me at all. The level design is great, and I loved going through the levels and discovering new secrets. Finally, I really like using all the different power-ups as they are a ton in this game, in fact, the most out of any Mario game.
	Wii U	Finished all Grand Prix with ★★★ in every CC class. 700 hours of playtime.	★★★★★	Man this is a big part of my life... I am safe to assume that it's an excellent game. I am never bored of playing it. Since 2014, I am enjoying this game, playing online in both race and battle mode for free, getting Blue Shelled... Something a lot of people are not fine with is the item distribution, but that's not the case for me. I think it's not overpowered that the items are distance-based, as it offers the possibility for people that are far in distance do get up quicker and to spice up the race. Solid title and character roster. I'm still playing it on every week-end with my family!
	Wii U	Finished Episode 1 and 2 from my memories.	★★★★☆	This is definitely a hidden gem. It's a nice and refreshing title that changes from the traditional Mario formula. This game is unique, and the levels are pure joy to go through. I kind of like that Captain Toad cannot jump, but I got to say this can be bothering at times. Also, the turnip mechanic return is nice.
	Wii U	Created a lot of levels.	★★★★☆	When I got this game, I was so excited... It's just insane to finally be able to create our own levels! Since the day I got the game, I spent hours and hours creating my own levels... until Super Mario Maker 2 came out.
	Wii U	Have unlocked all the characters and courts.	★★★☆☆	I only like Mega Battle in this game. It's cool and intense, and the Mega Mushrooms are insanely useful. However, this game significantly lacks of other solid game modes (the ones available are straight up boring/unoriginal).
	Wii U	Don't know where I am, I played it a while ago.	★★★★☆	While it's sure a good addition to the series, it doesn't stand out from the crowd. And that's it. Glad there is kind of a solo campaign at least.
	Android	Played through the first four levels as only the first world is free.	★★☆☆☆	Only 4 levels for free Nintendo, 4! It's 10€ for the full game? What? Now, I understand: it's a Mario game, and other New Super Mario Bros. titles weren't free. But this is a mobile runner game with only 24 levels! Sure, the Kingdom Builder is a bit of a cool addition, and the roaster is nice.However, the game isn't memorable at all, it feels bland and uninspired.
