Phase 1 letters revealed

The letters of the name[1] are hidden objects from Wrecking Crew that, when revealed in the correct order ("MARIO" or "LUIGI"), give an extra life. Letters can be revealed by breaking specific walls for demolition in the right order. Upon breaking the wall, a letter will appear on the background. Letters of the name can appear up to eight times in 59 of the 100 phases, depending on which phase the player starts on.

Some challenges in NES Remix involve uncovering the letters.
