Plasma Wire is the name of Zero Suit Samus's Up special move, which she will use in the upcoming Wii title, Super Smash Bros. Brawl. When she uses it, using her gun, she will fire a plasma beam in any direction she is facing, which will continue to grab a player who the whip hits. This is similar to Link and Young Link's Hookshot. She can also use this as a Tether Recovery move. When it clings on to a part of the stage, she can retract the whip, bringing her back to the stage safely. It has a very large range, so is more useful than the Hookshot. It is unknown if it causes any damage.
