Pak E. Derm is an elephant in the gane Yoshi's Story. The little elephant holds up a "Stop Sign" and doesn't let Yoshi pass. To pass, Yoshu had to Ground Pound the ground, and Pak E. Derm would fall on the ground, letting Yoshi pass. Yoshi had to pass quickly because he would get up soon.
Pak E. Derm also appears in Super Smash Bros. Melee, as a trophy, and in the background of the Yoshi Story stage.
