Pokey Sprouts are a smaller version of Pokeys that appear in Super Mario Sunshine, Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, and Super Mario Galaxy. Pokey Sprouts are just like regular Pokeys except they only consist of one body segment (the head). This variety has pink flowers on top of their heads along with regular Pokeys. Additionally, it hides in the ground, springing out when Mario approaches. Pokey Sprouts can be defeated by spraying them into a wall or jumping on them. Strangely, in Super Mario Galaxy, Pokey Flowers are green.
In Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time, the Pokey Sprout makes no technical appearance, although the overworld sprites of a normal Pokey look identical to them.
