Template:Item-infobox The Gold Card is one of the various cards that Mario receives from doing Frankie's trouble at the Trouble Center in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. After obtaining it, he can play the "Tube Mode" mini-game at Pianta Parlor and access the Gold Card items there.
The item reappears Super Paper Mario under the name Golden Card. Its purpose is to access the secret mini-game called Hammer Whacker at the arcade. The Golden Card is found in a hidden room in The Overthere bar in Flopside. Mario can access this room by flipping into 3-D and walking past the wall that is by Carson. Mario and friends can then find the Golden Card (as well as a Cooking Disk) in a treasure chest.
