#{{User|Ninja Squid}} To be honest, I don't feel like it violates the Minor NPCs rule at all. It is clearly written there that "However, if a Minor NPC can be shown to have importance to the game or story, the character warrants a conjectural name determined by the wiki and its own article.", which is the case here. This particular Paint Guy has stolen a good amount of paint from the red Mini Paint Star, which are needed to clear a level in Paper Mario: Color Splash. Furthermore, "he claims to have seen the error of his ways, stating he regrets his life choices", which showcases that he got a somewhat define personnality, which makes it sufficiently distinct in my opinion from other Paint Guys. With the way Paper Mario: Color Splash is structured in both story and characters, I believe this character follows the standards required to have its own page. | #{{User|Ninja Squid}} To be honest, I don't feel like it violates the Minor NPCs rule at all. Given what he says while attached to the sign, would Incredibly Handsome Paint Thief work as a title for this article? (T|C) 14:32, September 18, 2020 (EDT)
- It's written in plural, so I'd assume it's just meant to be a bit of bragging about Shy Guys in general. The other signs say "Beware the Paint Thieves!" and this one is different as a clue. Scrooge200 (talk)

Sorry to say this but I think the existance of this article is going a bit overboard. This Paint Guy does not stick around for very long, is only there to repaint the mini paint star, does not have an official name. I think this information works fine on the Paint Guy article. Nightwicked Bowser

When this article was first created, I thought its existence was going a bit overboard, as I said in the section above. I feel this information would work well in the Paint Guy article as this is a conjectural title and the Paint Guy himself only shows up briefly. I also feel it violates MarioWiki:Minor NPCs a bit.
