Spiked Fun Guy is a Tap-Tap lookalike. They inhabit castles in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and infest the Torrential Maze and Jelly Pipe in Yoshi's Story. Unlike Tap-Taps, Spiked Fun Guys can be eaten and made into eggs. In Yoshi's Story, Spiked Fun Guys are purple; in Yoshi's Island, they're green (resembling cacti) and sometimes appear in pots, as Potted Spiked Fun Guys.

  • "Fun Guy" may be a corruption of "fungi," indicating that Spiked Fun Guys may be a type of fungus.
