They are found driving on their own at a relatively low speed on the main streets. They are not found driving on shortcuts so it is sometimes safer to take a shortcut than to get hit.
The effect of hitting a Blue Car has the same effect as hitting a banana. A common trouble is to get stuck while wiping out on the car and then wiping out yet again. They can not be killed or eliminated; they can be harmed only by hitting it while using a Star, by running it over with a Chain Chomp, or to hit it with a Bowser Shell.
