Big size difference
Gargantua Koopa Troopa are Koopas from the Isle of Giants (World 4 from Super Mario Bros. 3). They are basically just gigantic Koopas.
Gargantua Koopa Troopas also appear in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga but fatter. They will not let the brothers pass. Mario has to leanr a move, that makes Mario shoot fire at Luigi's butt making him move faster. If they do that, near the Gargantua Koopa he will fall, and Mario and Luigi can pass.
