Template:Species-infobox Hammers are ghosts in Luigi's Mansion 3. They are quite similar to Slammers from Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, as they are red, large, and beefy, and even have similar names and are shaped quite similarly. They have square heads and attack by charging toward Luigi or Gooigi and hammering the floor, hence "Hammer". Like Slammers, they tend to act more brawny than intelligent. Hammers have 200 HP. Hammers have two tails, allowing both Luigi and Gooigi to vacuum them at the same time.
The first Hammer in the game appears on the third floor, the Hotel Shops. It uses a water sprinkler above to melt Gooigi and speeds up the escalators. To defeat a Hammer, Luigi or Gooigi must vacuum it from behind.
The Hammers are shown to be somewhat dim-witted, as one ate a construction hard-hat when supplied one by Professor E. Gadd when attempting to rebuild the destroyed Last Resort.
