Elevator tracker
- “The very first thing you need to do is install this elevator tracker inside the elevator for me, OK? As for what it is... I'll tell you later! Go on and get it installed!”
- —Professor E. Gadd, Luigi's Mansion 3
The elevator tracker is one of Professor E. Gadd's many creations in Luigi's Mansion 3. It is given to Luigi right after he is given the Virtual Boo, though the professor does not tell him its purpose right away, instead telling him to head to the elevator to get it installed.
Once in the elevator, Luigi takes out the elevator tracker, which comes in the form of a small red canister. He becomes startled when steam comes out, and he places it on the floor below the elevator buttons. After a moment of what appears to be him putting it together, the elevator tracker becomes a red monitor placed on the wall, with a screen Professor E. Gadd appears on. From this point on, he can communicate with Luigi in the elevator. The monitor also displays a map of each floor once it is unlocked.
