Desert Hills was the name of the Dessert Lever in the Japanese version of Super Mario Bros. 3. But in the American Version it remained Desert Land.
In Mario Kart DS there is a course named Desert Hills. Pokeys run wild around parts of the course and the Angry Sun will rain fireballs down at you starting on the Second lap.
