The Beanish people occupy the Beanbean Kingdom, an ally of the Mushroom Kingdom. The Beanbean Kingdom is south of the Mushroom Kingdom. The Beanish people have green skin, and may or may not be photosynthetic. They generally have huge mouths and love to laugh. The Beanish people are more protective of their borders than the Mushroom people, and their government seems less aloof than that of the Mushroom Kingdom, as seen by the Beanbean posts in the Hoohoo village. The Hoohooligans seem to be a race closely related to the Beanish people, who currently have dominion over them. There is also a Beanish dog species. The Beanish people made their debut in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga.
